Due to their modular design, each station can be modified for future changes in passenger demand, or advancements in transportation technologies. The modules, or kit-of-parts, contain climate responsive components consisting of translucent fabric shade canopies, shade louvers, green screens, seating, lighting, and vegetation.
The materials, colors, textures, light and shadow interplay of the components will alter the perception of each station throughout the day. They will help cool the stations and protect passengers from the harsh desert climate, while their shadows dance across the urban landscape. At night, the moonlight illuminates the canopies with a soft subtle glow.
